Andre is an Idiot is a comedy film by and about a friend of mine, Andre Riccardi, chronicling his final years battling cancer. It is absolutely hysterical as well as deeply and darkly touching. Andre declined going on a colonoscopy date with his buddy only to discover a year later that it may have saved his life – what an idiot! Andre was an amazing and unique character, and I hope you will take the opportunity to get to know him. Now playing in NYC at Film Forum and in Chicago at the Music Box Theater – soon coming to theaters everywhere and streaming on all services soon too, I’m sure. Check it out.
